Presence in the Kaoko Belt.
Ombala holds exploration ground in the Kaoko Belt of the Kunene Region, in far north-western Namibia. The belt is a copper-silver province with credible geological analogues to the Central African Copperbelt, and it remains lightly explored by modern standards. Large parts of it have never been drilled, and much of the regional coverage still rests on decades-old surveys.
Our licence covers roughly 18,945 hectares of Otavi Group carbonates and Nosib Group quartzites, around 64 km north-east of Opuwo. The terrain is rugged and dissected: steep ridges, incised drainages and thin cover, with shallow skeletal red-brown soils sitting directly on outcrop and calcrete or alluvium confined to the valley floors. That exposure works in our favour, because mineralisation can be mapped and sampled at surface before a single metre is drilled.
